Newark and Sherwood District Council has announced nominees for the upcoming local elections. Elections will be held on Thursday 4th May and residents of Fernwood registered to vote for these elections can vote at Fernwood Village Hall. The images above give full details of individuals nominated for Fernwood Parish Council and the Farndon and Fernwood ward of Newark and Sherwood District Council.

The UK Government has introduced a requirement for voters to show photo ID to vote in person at polling stations from these elections. More information can be found on the Electoral Commission's website.

If you do not wish to vote in person, you can apply to vote by post, no photo ID is required. Full details of how to apply for a postal vote can be found at : Newark and Sherwood District Council's website. Your application form should be completed and returned to Newark and Sherwood District Council by 5pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023 if it is to be effective for these elections.
