Here at Fernwood Village Hall we can cater for your many requirements whether you are hosting a birthday party or a conference, we can help make your event a success. Conveniently located in the heart of the village, with free parking and easy access from the A1, Balderton and Newark we are a very popular choice for the local community. For larger events, you are able to book the whole building for exclusive use.
There is a large main hall which holds up to 150 for a party or around 100 for a seated meal. If your dining is more informal we can cater for more. If the main hall is too large we also have a small hall. Both halls lead to the large patio area and beautiful enclosed garden; great for larger bouncy castles in the warmer weather, BBQ's and electric points for food trucks etc.
From the main hall there is access to the kitchen, patio and garden and also the bar, which can be hired for your event. The small hall also has access to the kitchen and the bar via the foyer and a door direct onto the patio and garden.
When you enter the hall there is a large foyer which acts as a great reception area and also has a few tables and chairs and access to the kitchen.
Our kitchen includes a large oven and hob, tall fridge, a freezer, Kettle, cutlery and various crockery and is all available to use during your hire.
The building is DDA compliant. Free WIFI is available at the hall. We have fixed projectors and screens in both of our halls making us an ideal location for conferences and business meetings.

Only the payment of a deposit will confirm the booking. All balances must be paid at least 2 weeks before the date of your event.
