Pathfinder Pathfinder

BUSES IN FERNWOOD

The new Number 90 Pathfinder servive operated by Nottingham City Transport commenced on 1st February. This service includes number 90, 90B and 90X and the timetable can be found here

The 90 operates daily:

  • Hourly Monday to Saturday daytimes
  • Two hourly Sunday daytime
  • Two hourly Monday to Saturday evening, with the last bus back from Nottingham at 22:30 on Saturdays

FARES AND DISCOUNTS:
A single jorney in the Newark Zone (Farndon to Fernwood) is £2.50 for adults and £2.00 for under 19s with an all day ticket in the Newark Zone is £4.50 for adults and £3.60 for under 19s. 

Concessionary passes can also be used subject to the usual time of day restrictions.

THE NEWARK ALL-ROUNDER

This is a brand new discount ticket which enables you to hop on and off multiple buses including those of different operators in and around Newark for a considerably reduced price.

The adult price is £4.20 for the day, £16 for the week.

Ages 19-21 inclusive you will pay £3.40 a day, £12.80 a week.

For ages up to and including 18 the cost is £2.30 a day, £10.70 a week.

The Newark All-Rounder is available on the Vectare, Centrebus and Gem services serving Fernwood.

Centrebus 24 Centrebus 24

Centrebus 24 runs from Grantham bus station via the Downtown retail outlet and Long Bennington village to Fernwood and Newark bus station.

There are three buses each way each day Mondays to Saturdays.

In Fernwood they pick up on the Great North Road - village green side for Grantham services, Tawny Owl side for London Road and Newark bus station.

Payment is by cash or contactless. Drivers carry only a limited amount of change. If they have insufficient, you will be offered a change voucher which can be used to pay for future journeys or to claim a refund.

Well behaved accompanied dogs are welcome.
