Fernwood Parish Council will be discussing how to proceed following the Council's survey regarding the plan for permanent closure of the north end of the lane to traffic other than buses/pedestrians/cyclists/emergency vehicles. The Council will also discuss how to proceed regarding concerns regarding the speed of traffic using the lane.

The Parish Council meeting will be held at Fernwood Village Hall at 7pm tonight - this is an open meeting and everyone is welcome.

Both reports are in the agenda pack which can be read on the Council's website here. The Council will also discussing many other items such as the precept request for 2023/24 and the development of a wildlife garden behind Marron Court. We will be pleased to welcome PCSO Hewerdine from Nottinghamshire Police who is coming to discuss with the Council the potential for a Public Space Protection Order in Fernwood to tackle Antisocial behaviour effectively.
