Fernwood Parish Council has updated responses to frequently asked questions about the woodland that the Council took ownership last month. Details can be found on the Council's website here.

The Council will be meeting on Monday 20th June at 7pm at Fernwood Village Hall. An update report is included in the agenda pack. The report can be read here.

Fernwood Parish Council intends to care for the area and maintain the natural habitat for flora and fauna whilst keeping it safe. Professional advice is being taken from Environmental Consultants that specialise in ecology, land management and arboriculture services. There is no intention to turn the area into a playpark.

If anyone has any further questions, please email the Parish Clerk at [email protected]. The meeting on Monday is an open meeting so questions can also be raised in the public forum there.
