Fernwood Youth Club

Introduction

Fernwood Parish Council has commissioned a ‘Youth Offer’ for Fernwood in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and Newark and Sherwood District Council. Nottinghamshire County Council’s Young People’s Service deliver the sessions on behalf of the partnership. The club opened in April 2022 and runs on a set operating pattern  - see the image below for details. (This is similar to school holidays but as many of the school in Newark and Fernwood have different holidays - please check below).

The Club runs on Friday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Fernwood Village Hall, following the Youth Services Timetable - see below. It is open for children in school years 6 to 11. Youth club sessions are 50p; this money goes to buy resources for the club. Please send your young person with change rather than notes as we have a limited float.

To arrange your young person's membership for the club, email [email protected]

Youth Club Update - February 8th 2023

- The youth club opening times have changed. The club is now open to young people (school years 6 to 11) from 6.30-8.30pm each Friday night.

- The youth club will be closed for half term (17/2/23)

- To become a member of the youth club, young people need to ask their parent/carer to complete membership forms. Once these have been completed and membership has been confirmed, the young person can attend the club. If your young person would like to join the club, email [email protected]
